GETTING SETTLED IN KAFFRINE

With all baggage accounted for and in tow, our SENEGAL15 Travel Team left Thies (Chess) and headed for Kaffrine today, arriving around 4:30 pm Senegal time (8:30 am our time). They will spend nights in Kaffrine until 01/04/15. Click here for full itinerary.

Traveling as part of our Team are Wolof interpreters Charles Ndiaye and Adama Sene. Their contribution (and fellowship) will be invaluable, particularly as our Team spends time in the Wolof villages of Diagle (Jog-a-lay) and Sorokogne (Soro-kone).

Yesterday, Sunday, 12/28/14, our Team worshipped at the Evangelical Baptist Church of Thies (EEBT), our local ministry partner.

Kristin Serniotti managed to quickly attract kids at church yesterday, one little 4-year-old girl in particular. "It was a lovely day," says Kristin. "My favorite part was seeing the children at church being children . . . exactly the same wiggly little bottoms here as we see at home (Mountain View)."
